The best solution for any problem, including insomnia, is to find the cause and treat it. Insomnia can be caused by many things, both physical and mental. Ask yourself if you have done anything differently when you have insomnia, and if you have, that might be a good place to start.

Hi, here are some well known remedies for insomnia..... at least I think this is what you mean.
Don't exercise just before going to sleep. Use your bed to sleep, not read, watch TV, surf the net on your laptop etc. Avoid heavy meals & caffeinated drinks & alcohol before bedtime, have a drink of warm milk or herbal teas. Make sure your room is cool/warm enough.I am sure different cultures have different remedies.

The way to avoid insomia is :
Be happy and relax.
IF you find is difficult to sleep:
listen to some soft music, and fancy (beautiful landscapes, good time with your love ect)
DO lie in comfortable and close your eyes,
the around of your room is not much noise.
In my exprerience,
drink some milk before going to bed is good for sleep;
do some exercise ourdoor;
keep your proper weight.
Don't have pressure,the subconscious is very important,
you can also try to give a good hint ;
Have a good sleep and dream ...
