Taiwanese Romanization
Hi italkiers! I'm wondering, are there any good resources online for Taiwanese Romanization? I'm a little unclear about the system- I am under the impression that it was developed by the Presbyterian church (do people use that system or do they use a different system?).
Any good resources for a foreignor to learn Taiwanese romanization?

I think you're referring to POJ, right? Wikipedia provides more than enough information on the romanization system: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pe%CC%8Dh-%C5%8De-j%C4%AB
Taiwan oficially uses a system called Tãi-lo, based on POJ. Basically the differences are:
POJ -> Tâi-lo
ch -> ts
chh -> tsh
eng -> ing
oa -> ua
oe -> ue
oai -> uai
The rest of it is identical in both POJ and Tâi-lo. In case you want to check how each letter sounds, you look up words in MOE's dictionary (in Tâi-lo) which has audio for all words: http://twblg.dict.edu.tw/holodict_new/index.html
