"yo estoy feliz" ? Why is it "estoy" but not "soy"? Or both are correct?

Saliha, you can say it both ways, but the meanings are different "Yo estoy feliz": means I feel happy (maybe today, or this week, but implies a short period of time. The situation might change tomorrow or next week) "Yo soy feliz": means I am happy, or I am a happy person (implies a much longer period of time, perhaps, a whole life time) That's the difference always between the verbs "ser" and "estar". "Ser" implies a permanent, unchanging condition. "Estar" describes a changing, temporary condition. Very different meanings in Spanish

selamlar , ikiside doğrudur fakat anlamları farklıdır. soy feliz karekter olarak mutlu bir insan olduguna , estoy feliz şu an mutlu olduguna işaret eder. kısacası bu ornek ıcın soy kalıcı , estoy geçiçidir .
