meaning of a sentence What does " in a manner that makes those experiences no longer horrific beyond imagining." mean here? does it mean " in a manner that is only within the realm of imagination and does not have anything to do with reality"? original sentence: "Although Maus does not attempt to become ‘‘the’’ defining narrative of the Holocaust, it very clearly and evocatively conveys the power of the experiences in a manner that makes those experiences no longer horrific beyond imagining."

It more or less means the opposite of what you mentioned. It means that he is able to take a horrific event and explain it in a way that let's the reader see the true story beyond the horror. Rather than the horror being a complete block, preventing readers from understanding, they are able to understand more details.
