'Except' vs 'But' vs 'Apart' All of them took part in the ceremony, except you. All of them took part in the ceremony, but you. All of them took part in the ceremony, apart you. Are all of them correct? Thanks in advance.

The first and second are fine. You could also add the word"for" before "you" and be correct, though the second sentence sounds more formal if you do write "but for you." The third sentence must have the word "from" before "apart". "Apart from you." A fourth option would be to end the sentence "besides you."

'All of them' is incorrect. It's better to say 'Everyone' or 'Everybody'. "Everyone / Everybody took part in the ceremony except for you." "Everyone / Everybody took part in the ceremony but you." would be better written as "Everyone / Everybody, but you, took part in the ceremony." Apart from you is incorrect here. You may also use 'participated' over 'took part'.
