Su.Ki is correct. "Off" can also mean incorrect in UK English slang. For example, if someone tells you that an event is scheduled for Friday, but you find out that the event was actually scheduled for Saturday, then you could use the phrase, "The date is off" to mean "The date is [incorrect]".

Is the date cancelled? It's a shortened form of 'called off'.
