Can anyone suggest to me good Russian TV shows to help me with my Russian. I prefer either crime drama or comedy. Oh and if could also include an English friendly website where I can watch them online, that would be great.

There are a lot of Russian shows. If you need subtitles write me. I help you with them and explain to you Russian slang. Comedy shows are "Реальные пацаны" (there are A LOT OF RUSSIAN SLANG) and "Универ" for example. But if you want to know Russian phrases in different situations (not only slang) watch others movies. Hi Robin,it is a good idea,u will definitely improve your russian by this way of learning.It depends what do u need to learn:formal or informal language.I'd recommend u watch "Новости","Вести"  and others like those for learning formal  russian and movies,serials for learning informal language(TНT channel especially).Good luck!)
