Looking forward to hearing from you
looking forward to your news
But can we combine them : looking forward to hearing your news
And which is more formal?

Yes, you can say 'Looking forward to hearing your news'. None of these are particularly formal. They are all neutral/informal signing-off formulae for friendly correspondences.
You wouldn't omit the subject and auxiliary verb in this way in a formal letter.
