I did not understand how should il use italki to improve my English conversation skills.
I understood the writing/correction stuff, but l am not interested in that. So if I pay for classes , the teacher will talk to me over what mean? Skype or here?Somebody help me.

Yes, Skype is most common, but you can also agree on a different system. Apart from paying for lessons, you can also try to get in touch with an English native speaker who's learning Portuguese and to set up an online meeting to practice both languages.
