Which one is correct? arrive in Bangkok or arrive at Bangkok?
Which one is correct? arrive in Bangkok 'or' arrive 'at' Bangkok?
And arrive 'in' Thailand and arrive 'at' Thailand. The difference between those two sentences is Bangkok is a city and Thailand is a country.
I wast told that arrive at Thailand is wrong. Is that true?
Can any one of you tell me when to use 'in' and when to use 'at'?
Thanks a lot for your help in advance!

Always use "arrive in" when it is followed immediately by a city or country.
You can use "arrive at" for times, like: "I arrived at 5:30."
You can also use it in some cases when talking about specific locations, as in "When I arrived at the airport, my flight had been canceled" or "We wanted to arrive at the stadium by 6:00, but a traffic jam slowed us down and we were late."
