How to undestand " been around as long as" here? I'm an old employee. So when you've been around as long as I have a lot of problems come and go. Is it that: if you are as experienced as me, you will find most problems are frequently repeated ?

In the UK, it's not standard English to say that "problems come and go", but rather that "people (e.g. staff, customers) come and go" i.e. the people keep changing. You could say : "... you see the same old problems, year in, year out."
