What is the difference between among and amongst?

Here in America, we use both of them interchangeably. This has been my experience in America, but maybe in other English speaking countries (Canada, England, etc.) there would be a different way to use each of them. Hope this has helped! :) Good on learning English!

There is no difference at all.
'Amongst' is fractionally more formal, and used more in Britain than in the USA. It's the same as 'while' and 'whilst'.

There is no difference. I've heard that "amongst" is used more by the British, whereas Americans prefer "among". However, they're perfectly interchangeable.
