live. living I cannot see clearly the tense to be used in the following situation I live in a town , but during the academic year I live in Seville because it is where the college is. Should I say: I am living in Seville during the academic year ( it is temporary) I live in Seville ( because it is every day during autumn and winter) And does it affect the scenario if I go back home at the weekends? Thank you very much

'I live in Seville during the academic year' would be most natural. If you were going home at weekends, you could say 'I live in Seville during the week'. It would be clear that 'the week' refers to the working week.

I would say: I live in Seville except holidays when I live in my hometown. Or I live in Seville during my study. It is quite a permanent living, even considering weekends or summer time.

You should say "I live in Seville." "I am living in Seville." would only be used if you were living in Seville AT THE MOMENT that you said the sentence.
