An English grammar question " I am expecting your information." " I am expecting the news from you." Which one is correct or better?

I would say "I await your answer/reply", but as others have said it depends on the context - my answer is used in more formal situations. Hope this helps Bob

It depends on what you are expecting. If you are expecting the outcome of an event (like the results of an election) then you can refer to its as "the news". If you are expecting some specific information about the person (like their telephone number) then you can use "your information". Also, using expecting in this scenario is not common. It would sound better to say: I am waiting to receive the news from you. or: I am waiting to receive your information.
