put it down/put down on/put dow to/put down for
I hear these phrasal verbs so often in completeley different context and meaning....
Every new context where 'put down' is used completely confuses me, wherese many other phrasal verbs do not confuses that much... What does 'put down' exactly mean? Why it is used so often?

You've given yourself the answer! You need to understand "put down" IN CONTEXT.
Part of the beauty of phrasal verbs is that they are extremely flexible. Look at the context (=the whole sentence) and it's clear. If you only look at "put" and "down", of course you'll be confused! :)
