Ojisan also means random middle age men whose hygiene is terrible lol
So it could be a bit offensive. Be careful when you call someone "Ojisan" ;)

Every time I hear ojisan and ojiisan it sounds the same to me for some reason and it confuses the heck out of me...

grandpa = おじいさん(ojiisan) or そふ(sofu)
uncle = おじさん(ojisan)
Be sure to hold out the "jii" in grandpa fully, otherwise people will think you are saying uncle.
