Do we say 'call the delivery/take out'? How do we express we make a call and order something home? Thank you!

Almost exactly right: "We are calling for take-out / delivery"

The verb call is used with different prepositions for different meanings. To call someone for something (like a food delivery) we say something like "Should we call (the restaurant) for delivery, or go out?" We can also use the verb to get. "Let's get some dinner delivered tonight. Will you call to place an order." Think of it this way: we "call someone for something', we "call on someone to do something". In this case using the right prepositions and understanding that some verbs need objects are important concepts.

"I'm calling xyz for a pizza. I going to order A, B and C. Do you want to collect it or get them to deliver it?"
