What do you understand ?
"For some reason everytime someone has difficulty with explaining something in their lives whether it's a situtation we have gotten ourselves into, or something we just observe or think about in our daily lives we say there must be a purpose for it.Perhaps thats true. When we say that, for some of us, we assume that it's always a good thing."
So that's the context. I couldn't really get what's meant here. Could you please help me like what do you understand?

In my opinion, I think it is saying that when we have difficulty explaining an experience or a feeling, we tend to think that it is because we are at a loss for words due to it being a good thing. Because if it was negative, we would have words for it.

It is referring to the desire for people to find a purpose and reason for everything that happens to them. And many of those that think that way find the purpose to be a positive one.
