What's the "Neither was war in the Falklands" real meaning or it just means a war? This is the whole sentence "Neither was war in the Falklands, but the old man tends to get what he wants."

You cut out part of a sentence. If you posted the full sentence we could tell you what it means. I'm also not sure what you mean by "real meaning or it just means a war".

"War in the falkland" refers to the Falklands war, between England and Argentina. I would need the rest of the sentence for context to tell you what the rest of the words mean in this context.
