Does "lo que se a" mean whatever? I heard an estadounidense speaking Spanish on youtube say "lo que se a". There's no entry for it on spanishdict.com but google translate says it means whatever. Is that the right translation? Whatever is a common space filler type word in the US. Is this a phrase that is used in Latin American countries or was this just an American using American slang while talking in another language? Thanks.Oops I tried to use estadounidense instead of American & forgot halfway though.

It could mean "whatever" or "anything" (sp) Por ejemplo: "el chico está escribiendo lo que sea" o "el chico está escribiendo cualquier cosa" significan lo mismo en español. (en) for example, "the boy is writing whatever" or "the boy is writing anything" mean the same in Spanish.
