consequent: following as a result or effect: "labor shortages would be created with a consequent increase in wages."
consequential:
1 following as a result or effect: "there was a loss of confidence in the company and a consequential withdrawal of funds."
or
2 important; significant: "perhaps the most consequential discovery of the eighteenth century."
