HulpleerkrachtWhat is the difference between "sentir," "se sentir" and "ressentir"?
I mix these up quite a lot. I have read them in the dictionary, but I still don't understand their differences. They all mean "to feel," but what kind of feeling? I would really appreciate some clarity on this. Thank you in advance!

Sentir ( as feel not smell ) : having a feeling through your senses ( mostly touch ) like "je sens sa main sur mon épaule/le vent sur mon visage/mon coeur battre"
Se sentir : feel about yourself ( physical state or emotionnal ) "je me sens malade/heureux/triste/fatigué/bien"
Ressentir : feel within yourself like "je ressens de la colère/joie" or "je ressens une douleur quelque part"
I hope that helps a bit.
