En España se utiliza muchísimo más "tener que". "Haber de" tiene exactamente el mismo significado, pero no se usa muy a menudo en la lengua corriente. Puede escucharse cuando se quiere producir un efecto más poético y dramático.

YO TENGO QUE HACER LA CAMA / YO HE DE HACER LA CAMA
TENGO QUE VER ESA PELÍCULA/ HE DE VER ESA PELÍCULA
TENGO QUE VISITAR ESPAÑA/ HE DE VISITAR ESPAÑA
First is more common however second is listened to also.
