The understanding of being busy! Hi guys, could somebody please clarify the words for being busy. Until now, I have been using "sono occupato" however I have also come across these other words "impegnato" and "pieno". Is my understanding correct that both "impegnato" and "occupato" can be used to say I'm busy or we are busy? The word "pieno/a" is used to mean "full" so I could say "questa settimana è piena, quindi non ho tempo visitare il mare!" but it means that it's a busy week, right? Am I able to say that "sono pieno", perhaps not, right? Thanks!

Hi Juha! The meaning of "impegnato" e "pieno" is roughly the same. The first is more formal and suitable for a job context, the second instead is informal and you could use it in this way, for example: "questa settimana sono pieno" (rather than "questa settimana è piena").
