http://www.readers365.com/61/index42.htm BTW, the translation is very accurate because it reflects the cultural mindset of the target language. If translated literally, the book becomes unreadable!

第一知道”长腿叔叔“的英语是”Daddy Long Legs“，译成”叔叔“真是没水平啊。难道读者会看不懂到底是叔叔还是爸爸吗？既然作者用Daddy那就应该译成”爸爸“。
