2. He "gets" dizzy at the sight of blood; he gets sick at the sight of blood; he gets queasy at the sight of blood.
1. Is weird. Blood-injury phobia?
3. "Swoon" is very old fashioned. Maybe the English still use it more commonly than we Americans, but I doubt it.
