If you translate 'play with fire' literally into Korean, it would be '불과 놀다', which sounds very awkward. Instead, there's a specific phrasal verb, '불장난 하다.'

play= 놀다 with= ~와 함께 fire= 불 so it means directly 불을 가지고(have),피우고(make) 놀다. but if you meant "try something dangerous", "불장난을 하다"
