I’ve always been attracted to volunteering, but I’ve never been a volunteer before. So it’s like my dream come true.
I’m going to spend two weeks in Sri Lanka, and I’d like to apply for the Orphanage Program in Kandy for my first week and then go to Galle to take part in the Environmental Protection Program for the next week. It would be wonderful if I can do something for the kids there, such as teaching them to paint and sketch, playing games with them or singing songs for them. And I’m sure I can learn much from helping local people to protect the environment. In the meantime, I can make many new friends and it’s so exciting!
I would be very grateful if I can get the chance to volunteer for the projects in Sri Lanka.

This looks good to me. Technically, in the 3rd from last sentence, some people think it is wrong to begin a sentence with the word "and"
