"State of mind" vs "frame of mind"
Is there any difference between "state of mind" and "frame of mind"? Based on dictionary definitions they seem synonymous. Thanks!

"frame of mind" is far less commonly used. I sense a slight difference when I use either but I suspect the difference is so subtle that it will be used differently by different people.

Yes, they are the same. There may be a few colloquial expressions that would use one and not the other. For example "I am in a New York state of mind". I am a native speaker.
