Hi, I'm an english learner. Recently I read this sentence, " You could find the fundamentalist for one sort or another".
What does the phrase" for one sort or another mean"?
Is this phrase commendatory, derogatory or just neutral?

The expression is just "one sort or another". "For" isn't necessarily part of it. You could also say "a speech of one sort or another", for example.
The expression means "one type/kind or another type/kind". It's neutral.
In order to understand what "you could find the fundamentalist for one sort or another" means, it would be necessary to know the context though. I don't know what it means because the context is missing: for one sort or another of what? 你可以为了某种【……】把原教旨主义者找到。

I have never heard of this phrase and it must have been used in context.
The phrase you're speaking of "of one sort or another" could mean that they are referring to any sort of thing. It's really hard to explain with no context.
