Korean alphabet Hi, I'm looking for the Korean alphabet. Something like a,b,c... but then with Korean letters. I know the letters, but not the order of them. I would like to learn them. I hope someone understands my question and would like to answer it :)

Here's a 5 minute introduction to the hangul alphabet (한글 자모). * The core 24 (they are usually presented in this order) ㄱㄴㄷㄹㅁㅂㅅㅇㅈㅊㅋㅌㅍㅎ.... 14 consonants ㅏㅑㅓㅕㅗㅛㅜㅠㅡㅣ .................. 10 vowels (When we recite them, we say: 가나다라마바사아자차카타파하 아야어여오요우유으이) * The full 51 (Consonants - 30) ㄱㄴㄷㄹㅁㅂㅅㅇㅈㅊㅋㅌㅍ ㅎ .............. basic (14) ㄲㄸㅃㅆㅉ ............................................. doubles (5) ㄳㄵㄶㄺㄻㄼㄽㄾㄿㅀㅄ................ compounds (11) * only used in bottom (받침) position (Vowels - 21) ㅏㅑㅓㅕㅗㅛㅜㅠㅡㅣ............................... basic (10) ㅐㅒㅔㅖㅘㅙㅚ ㅝㅞㅟ ㅢ.............. compounds (11) You can see that the basic 24 can combine together to create the rest of the 51 (ㄱ+ㄱ = ㄲ,ㅏ+ㅣ = ㅐ, and so on).

The Korean alphabet is called hangul, or 한글. If you search "learn hangul" on google you will find some good resources, but I'll list the ones I used to get myself started. 1. http://www.koreanwikiproject.com/wiki/index.php?title=Learn_hangeul (Information is presented clearly, and it introduces the letters to you one by one to make learning easier. Also lots of audio files to help you practice and test yourself) 2. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0ZhOeA0RD9o (VERY good for help with pronunciation, and the teacher is my personal favorite. She has a good video series for Korean beginners) 3. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Q8Smjkw_cjg (More straightforward and less exciting than some of the other links, but nevertheless does a good job of presenting the ideas) 4. http://www.sayjack.com/blog/2010/12/18/easy-ways-to-memorize-korean-hangul/ (Hangul letters were designed to mimic the position of the mouth/tongue while a person pronounces the sound of a letter. This website does a great job of explaining this concept, which may help you memorize the letters) Other resources: 5. http://www.howtostudykorean.com/unit0/ (This website has been designed to introduce Korean grammar as well and is a great tool to get started with Korean) 6. http://www.talktomeinkorean.com/lessons/learn-hangeul/how-to-read-and-write-hangeul-part-1/ (I didn't use this for learning hangul, but I watch talktomeinkorean videos to learn phrases and grammar. They are more engaging and entertaining in their presentation than other resources, which may or may not suit you)
