The difference between 수용 and 인정 is attitude. 인정 is more aggressive and detail then 수용. So if you are doing 인정 something, that is end. But if you are doing 수용 something, you can saying another thing. So in this case, 인정 is more suitable. 사람들이 (지국이 진짜라는 것을) 인정해야 한다.
