What's the difference between too and way too?
For example, It's too far. It's way too far .Does the two sentences have the same meaning? Or the second one is always used for common speech?

'It's too far' means exactly what it says. 'It's way too far' means it is a long way too far.
Hope this helps

Way is informal, it is used instead of far.
For Ex: It's way too early to say I will win.
way too means far too.
Too means extremely.

"way" is just an informal modifier. "It's too far" versus "It's WAY too far" is like the difference between saying saying "it's good" versus "it's VERY good".

Yes, the sentences have the same meaning. The difference in adding "way" before "too far" is it exaggerates the point of the sentence. It is the same concept as if you had a sentence like, "It's too expensive, or it's way too expensive. It just puts emphasis on the adjective.
