What does "above-threshold" mean?
There's a threshold, a condition that needs to be fulfilled and then an action is insued. Sometimes, it's what's below the threshold, but other times, it's what's above the threshold, the standard. I wonder how this is used. Are there any specific phrases containing threshold like "above-threshold" that has this meaning?
E.g. Water becomes ice when reaching 100 degree celcius, and becomes vapor when reaching below 0 degree celcius.
Thanks very much.
