what does 恥ずかしいね mean in this context?? So I texted my friend and told her I went to watch her basketball practice once (she didn't actually notice I was there). Her response was '恥ずかしいね' What I don't understand is was she implying that she finds it embarrassing that I saw her play or is she implying that I was embarrassed/shy to make her notice I was there? Because she said like ね at the end so I feel like she can't be talking about herself...?

Grammatically, the two options you mentioned would be possible. Even in English, the translation is; It is embarrassing, isn't it? So, simply by looking at the above sentence, people would not be able to understand what (or who) is embarrassing (embarrassed). However, in terms of the general sense, the first option would be most likely. She felt herself that she was embarrassed because you were there. ね sounds that she asked your agreement and this is quite casual. So, I personally feel that she did not take this seriously.
