"To Verb" and "Ving" Hello guys, I'm confused about "to verb" and "ving " For example It means about: Since he study hard, he always get the good rank. 1. (Ving) Since studying hard, he always get the good rank. 2. (To v) Since to study hard, he always get the good rank. But no2 is not correct, could someone tell me the reason please? Thanks a lot.

Neither 1 nor 2 is correct. It would be correct to write “Since he studies hard, he always gets good grades.”

"Since he study hard, he always get the good rank." This is not correct. I'm sure you can see the errors. I agree with Mikkel that neither of your examples with "since" are natural.
