I think that they cry because goodbye to us means farwell and everyone knows well how much farwell is so painful and hurtful. That Goodbye or Farwell means the end of love and the end of two hearts .

Red Eyes is right, if you need to cry you easily find a reason to. I cry very seldom, but I can understand those crying when listening to «goodbye»... have you ever had to say goodbye to the one you loved?

Goodbye in a love song means that the path was divided in two......sometimes we have to take different paths for having less stress and problems.......but it just happens when love is weak and unreal.
