How do you say it when you were at a restaurant? How do you say it if you would like to had a half of bowl of rice at a restaurant? Is it correct below? ' I would like to have a half-full of rice.' A amount for 'one person serve' is too much for me to eating all of it. I don't want to left it. That's why I would like to request that. By the way, if you knew Chinese language, I also appreciate it that you would tell me the sentence above into Chinese. It is a Chinese restaurant where I go often.

"A half-full of N" is an incorrect expression 1. I would like a side of rice. 2. I would like half a serving of rice. 3. I would like half a bowl of rice. 4. Could you box one half and give me the rest now? You know, you could always just take your leftovers home :)
