Go like clockwork I' ll do my best to get things to go like clockwork. Is this correct? I want to sound natural. Thanks

It's correct, but not entirely natural. We'd probably say 'I'll do my best to make sure things go smoothly.'

I agree with Su.Ki. "It went like clockwork" sounds good when describing how a specific event went (in the past).
