What's the difference between minimal and minimum, maximal and maximum?

Minimum and maximum can also be used as adjectives.
Minimal/minimum are very similar but the easiest way to think of them is:
minimal = just enough or very little
minimum = least possible
Maximal/Maximum can be treated the same way.
