Dr. Norton's occupation is a biology scholar.
look at the word's I capitalized .
biology scholar is more common than saying scholar of biology
for example soccer player vs. a player of soccer. One sounds weird but it will still be understood.

It would be unusual in many countries to say "scholar" of anything. A scholar is usually a student, so it's confusing that being a scholar is here described as a profession.
What does Dr Norton do? is he a professional biology expert? If so, say that. If he is a teacher or lecturer or professor, say that. But to have an occupation as a scholar of anything sounds wrong.
