Beijing Shanghai and Guangzhou for sure. You could work in other cities if you get some close friends there. There are some nice cities for traveling and living in China, such as "Dalian" "Hangzhou" etc, but I definitely would not recommend you to go there alone. Living abroad is tough. Good luck!

If you want to be an English Tour Guide, certainly those first tier cities are better choices, such as Beijing and Shanghai, that's where you can find enough foreign tourists. And I personally feel that cultural attractions need more introduction than natural scenes, and that's where a tour guide can add more value to their customers, but of course, competitions should be very intense.
