What does "father-of-one" mean?
I've found "father-of-one" in an article. For example: "Father-of-one was hit by train". What's the meaning of that? Thanks!

Hi Ana,
"Father-of-one" means that this father has only one child. Any time you see an expression like this, it indicates how many children/grandchildren the person has.
"Mother-of-one" = Mother who has one child.
"Grandmother-of-one" = Grandmother who has one grandchild.
I hope my answer helps. Please let me know if you have any more questions.
