give means : to offer something to someone, or to provide them with it , but bring means : to take or carry someone or something to a place or a person, or in the direction of the person speaking .

The conventional distinctions of moving toward or away from the person speaking are sometimes abused (not used correctly) in colloquial English, with "bring/take" and "come/go".
For example you may hear, "I will bring ["take" is preferred] a coffee to them."
-"What time are you coming?" -"I am coming ["going" is preferred ] at 8."
You "come/bring" to me, and I "go/take" to you, if I am the speaker. Those are the correct semantics.
