What does this" كا" mean in arabic? (prefix)
الحب كالحرب من السهل ان تشعلها و من الصعب ان تخمدها
someone translate this, and what is this "كا" in front of the fully word "كالحرب" i have seen it in other words as well and i have no idea what kind of prefix this is.
( in moroccan arabic they use "كا" as "it" i think.)

Hello!
"الحب كالحرب من السهل أن تشعلها و من الصعب أن تخمدها =love is like war easy to start and difficult to end"
in arabic if you want to compare something to something else you can use" كا" or" يُشبِهُ" or" مِثلَ".
=>الحب يشبه الحرب =الحب مثل الحرب
for example: "a good friend is like a mirror = الصَدِيقُ الجَيَّدُ كالمِرآةِ."
-"كا"here means "is like"=>(love=الحب)+(is like=كا or يُشـبِهُ or مِثلُ) +(war=الحرب).
I hope it will help ^_^

"Ka" in Standard Arabic is not the same in Moroccan Dialect
In MSA ( Modern Standard Arabic ) ka is like 'as' in English
كسرعة البرق
as the speed of lightening
But in Moroccan it represent something in the present
كبغيتي you like
غاتبغي you will like
