According to Longman Dictionary, common/shared humanity is the state of being human rather than an animal or machine. = However, I don't really get it, especially I can't find any similar word in Vietnamese (for translation ^^).

'humanity' = being human.
It means that, although we come from different countries, speak different languages, and follow different religions, we are all human beings.
