What does Gibang mean? so i came across the word Gibang, when reading a historical/period drama and I'm trying to figure out it's meaning. is it a brothel or just a building that korean geisha women/artists worked at? here as example of the word being used: 1. [Aren't you taking me to that impressive Gibang] 2. [I think the Gibang is really gorgeous?????]

기방(Gibang) is the place where the geisha women lived and entertained their customers. It's not a brothel, as geisha were professional entertainers trained in singing and dancing. 1. (준다지 = 준다고 (말)하지 = said that you would ...) => Didn't you tell me you'd take me to a fancy geisha house? 2. => That geisha house we just passed looks really gorgeous to me.
