"dose" => "does"
In general, it means the level of relevance/applicability something has to the real world as opposed to academia or something like that. So, you might say "does the content of your online course have real-world relevance?" meaning will it help me to get a job? If you could give the context of where you saw this expression, though, that will help people give you a more tailored answer. :D

An example, which comes from some questions from a pretty awful textbook that Chinese people regularly post here: "Does the style of English being taught in 'New Concept English' still have any real-world relevance?". i.e. Does learning overly-wordy, pompous postwar English really help Chinese people learn to communicate effectively with modern native English speakers? Or is it just an academic exercise in learning archaic grammar forms?
