difference "should" "ought"
Is there a difference in meaning or a better form to use between these sentences:
"Is there something I ought to know about London?"
"Is there someting I should know about London?"
Thanks for answering

They mean exactly the same thing. Ought is just a bit more formal.

"should" and "ought to" mean exactly the same thing. "ought to" sounds a little more formal but that may be just me.
