Is it possible to put these prepositions?
If we use other prepositions instead of "on", are they correct grammer, but strange meaning?
1. She is turning on some lights.
2. She is turning under some lights.
3. She is turning at some lights.
4. She is turning across some lights.
Thanks in advance.

Hello,
It all depends on context.
For example, if we're talking about driving and stoplights, I see possibilities for 1,2 and 3 but not for 4..
Context could be the difference between right and wrong.

Thank you for your explanation. It helps me a lot. As you said, using the word "spinning" in stead of "turning" sounds good when the image in my head.

I'm not sure but I don't think so.
I don't know what the technical term is in the ballet. Maybe it's spinning, not turning and in that case, I guess that it depends where the lights are.
It's all about context.

Thank you for answering my questions.
One more question for 4. If a woman is turning like a ballerina across some lighting, we can use sentense 4 ?
